A private viewing of the Corsini Family Collection with Peroni Nastro Azzurro

Last Wednesday, we were invited by Peroni to the Auckland Art Gallery to dine in the midst of a private art collection from the eminent Corsini family in Florence, Italy. The exceptional selection of works, encompassing portraits, landscapes, sculptures, costumes and furniture (including a dining room set for six), serves as a window into the family, illuminating their passion for art and outstanding loyalty to their hometown, which has prevailed through the devastation of World Wars and floods.

After viewing the incredible exhibition, guests were treated to an Italian dinner prepared by the inimitable Sean Connolly (of Gusto Cucina), complemented by Peroni Nastro Azzurro. The evening was hosted by Peroni Brand Ambassador Admir Mullaaliu who had us leaving uttering three words: “Veni, vidi, amavi.” (We came, we saw, we loved.) Take a look at the video above to get a glimpse into what was a night to remember.
