An evening of memorable moments with Moët & Chandon

Last night, the shimmering affair that was Moët & Chandon’s Gold Party took place at Auckland’s sumptuous Clooney restaurant. Within the sultry, dimly-lit space, peppered with gold confetti, the Champagne brand’s Midas touch set the scene for a celebration that honoured five highly accomplished individuals. Festive features were erected around the room to add to the frivolity, including a whimsical swing and a tiered Champagne tower, set behind glass taking pride of place next to the Moët & Chandon bath, in which revellers could lounge for a memorable photo. With Jupiter Project’s rousing beats ensuring everyone had a reason to hit the dance floor and the never-ending trays of golden glasses and illuminated bottles keeping our whistles wet, it was an evening for making memories.

In the spirit of honouring entrepreneurs, each honouree (Maggie Hewitt, Rose Keddell, Michael Goudie, Donielle Brooke and Aiden Bartlett) has offered an item to be included in a charity auction on TradeMe in support of the Akina Foundation. A fitting and worthy cause, the foundation focuses on fostering the entrepreneurial spirit in young New Zealanders and encourages social enterprise.
