Two of our favourite delicacies collide at the new Wagyu Whisky Wednesdays

Known for its expertly crafted cocktails and sumptuous interior, Coley & Punch lends itself perfectly to those increasingly wintery nights that demand a cosy spot to hunker down in. Take up a place at the bar or recline on the dark, leather seating and treat yourself to any of their signature cocktails (our current favourite is the Boulevardier) or a glass of whisky from their over-200 strong selection.

Making a case for eschewing the Saturday night crowds and venturing out for a midweek drink instead, the Princes Wharf locale has recently initiated Wagyu Whisky Wednesdays, every Wednesday from 4pm until 10pm. Indulge in a seared Wagyu beef carpaccio with Ortiz anchovy, smoked yolk and Parmigiano Reggiano, and enjoy an accompanying glass of Japanese whisky — all for $30. It’s a simple way to treat yourself to a delicious bite and a smooth drop, without having to think about it
