Win tickets to this invite-only music charity gala, plus a night for two at Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour

While many industries have suffered tremendously due to the pandemic, the creative arts have certainly taken a king hit — in particular, the music industry. With international touring mostly off the cards for what has now been an entire year, many local musicians and music professionals have seen their livelihoods come into severe jeopardy.

Aiming to give a helping hand is L’Art de la Musique, an exclusive invite-only fundraising event happening on Wednesday, 31st March and presented by Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour and MusicHelps.

Coming together in celebration and support, the music industry community will raise money for talented fellow local music industry professionals who have been affected by COVID-19 restrictions within the industry at large. The funds raised from the event and auction will enable charity MusicHelps to extend its essential programmes, providing financial, counselling and other wellbeing support to Kiwi music workers whose livelihoods have been shattered over the past 12 months.

L’Art de la Musique will be a night to remember, hosted in the beautiful Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour and kicked off with rousing live performances by Ladi6, Julia Deans, Tami Neilson and NZTrio.

Up for grabs within both silent and live auctions are some priceless items and experiences — and you can bid on them whether or not you’re attending the event on the night. Someone will be the lucky new owner of Lorde’s personal Scorpio jacket, worn by the groundbreaking star to the Melodrama album listening event in New York City; or bid for a mentoring session with Grammy Award winning producer Joel Little, who has worked with Taylor Swift, DJ Khalid, Imagine Dragons, Broods and, of course, Lorde. This package also includes a recording slot at Neil Finn’s iconic Roundhead Studios — budding musicians, get in there.

To celebrate this very worthy event, we have an exciting giveaway to offer one lucky winner. Comprising 1 x double pass to the exclusive L’Art de la Musique event and 1 x night’s stay for 2 x people in a Luxury Room with Marina View at Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour on 31st March — plus Club Sofitel access and breakfast (valued at $714). Rub shoulders with the crème de la crème of Aotearoa’s music industry before ensconcing yourself in the comfort of one of Sofitel’s luxurious rooms for the night.
