Art and fashion have long shared an unbreakable bond. After all, what is fashion if not wearable art? It therefore seems oh so natural that the authority on all things luxurious, sartorial and creative at WORLD would bring us respite in the form of artful wonderment in stores during the otherwise bleak month of June.

Partnering with Gow Langsford Gallery and Design 55, the WORLD stores — an already near perfect feast for the senses — will provide a splendid stage for a curation of works and curiosities from lauded local and international artists such as Piero Fornasetti, Ottmar Hörl and Dick Frizzell to name but a few. Endeavouring to furnish one and all with an opportunity to be astonished in an everyday setting, WORLD Art Month will see everything from creations by Gregor Kregor, Lisa Roet or Max Gimblett sitting pretty alongside Cire Trudon candles to a Reuben Paterson sculpture, surrounded by an army of WORLD mannequins.

To further celebrate the magic that occurs when fashion and art collide, limited edition hand-signed t-shirts by the artists and badges will also be available, as will a whimsical, hand-created colouring book featuring the illustrations of Pebbles Hooper. Fancy unleashing your inner artist?
