Perched on a private peninsula in Miami’s oldest neighbourhood, Casa Bahia is quite simply the coolest house we’ve come across in a while. Where modern architecture meets Asian influence, the sprawling waterfront manor, designed by Brazilian filmmaker Alejandro Landes, blurs the lines between outdoors and in with enormous glass walls sliding away to open up the whole house and sheltered courtyards on every level including the roof. With painfully enviable sea views echoed inside via the home’s network of shallow reflective pools, the seven-bed, eight-bath, four-kitchen home also boasts a jacuzzi, theatre, wine cellar, sauna and private dock so the owners can whisk away into town whenever they please. So cool.
