Looking like something straight out of Wes Anderson’s eccentric subconscious, Nanan French Patisserie in Wroclaw, Poland is the coffee and cake experience that design dreams are made of. With plush velvet walls, vintage lighting, bronze-rimmed mirrors, marble tables and inviting armchairs, you’d be forgiven for visiting simply to eye the interiors — though to forgo the exceptional sweet treats would be a grave error. Macarons, chocolates and dangerously pretty pastries meticulously arranged in one central glass cabinet, the entire experience, created and curated by Poland’s revered Buck.Studio, is, in a word, incredible.
