The simple menu has flavours that are anything but.
Breakfast is, without a doubt, the most important meal of the day. So, it’s always a win-win if it also happens to taste damned delicious too. This is why it was music to our ears to hear that a new food truck, Yeah Naan, has dedicated its weekends to serving up the morning meal with something a little different to toast.
A food traditionally associated with India, eaten at all meals over in the south-Asian subcontinent, thanks to Yeah Naan, the flatbread delicacy is making its way into our bellies in the form of what can be best described as an exotic take on the breakfast bagel. With options from crispy free range bacon, tomato chilli chutney, cream cheese and coriander and the opportunity to add an egg or have it vegetarian, each is served on a naan, handmade in a traditional tandoor. The simple menu has flavours that are anything but.
The breakfast food truck is based down at Cox’s Bay opposite the reserve on West End Road during the weekends from 8am-2pm. They’ll also be serving up Kokako coffee and hot chocolates, so make your way down there with the kids this weekend for some deliciously crispy breakfast naan.
