An exceptionally delicious new kitchen offering epic smoothies slices, cakes and salads.
About a year has gone by, filled with multiple weddings, functions, corporate events and birthday parties, since two passionate best friends, Emily Read and Phoebe Carr begun their bespoke catering venture, Together. It is their adoration for sharing good food that resulted in each event flourishing with almost-too-pretty-to-eat grazing tables, antipasto platters, slices, cakes and salads, all of which they have quickly become renowned for.
To say it has been successful would be an understatement; it’s been so popular that a cute new outpost has blossomed, carrying the same name. Making use of the extra space in their commercial kitchen based on the Shore, the duo (with the help of their respective boyfriends, who happen to be quite handy when it comes to building) have transformed the space into a simple, yet slick, little pitstop. White tiles, recycled wood benches and shelving, a concrete bench top made from scratch by said handymen, a beautiful hanging piece from Muck Floral and, of course, a cabinet abundant with treats, all make for an alluring drive to Rothesay Bay.
On the countertop sits a variety of bliss balls, freshly made sourdough sandwiches, cupcakes doused in vanilla mascarpone and topped with candied walnuts, and delicious savoury muffins. Your eyes are then swiftly diverted to the chilled cabinet that holds beautiful, colourful raw salads, wraps brimming with chicken and seasonal vegetables, chia seed breakfast bowls, Banoffee baby cakes, raw ginger slice and our personal favourite, the crunchy raw snickers bar oozing with caramel.
There is no coffee on offer, but that’s made up for with the Forage and Bloom teas and five delectable whole food smoothie blends to choose from. The Golden Pina Colada has mango, pineapple, banana, turmeric, fresh ginger, coconut cream and passionfruit. It’s equal parts sweet and sour and it’s heavenly. It’s evident that there has been a whole lot of love poured into this venture and with an emphasis on food that not only tastes good but looks good too, we suggest you go and get amongst. It’s a love that’s meant to be shared, after all.
