Indulge in some requiescence with the help of this elegant tea set.
Using minimal shapes to harmonious effect, the Rosenthal Studio Line Cha tea collection exhibits elements of serenity that make for a supremely soothing tea drinking experience. Inspired by the oldest tea store in Japan, Italian designer Frederica Capitani harnesses the ritualism of traditional brewing and supping with this fluid and contemporary masterpiece.
The mono-materiality of the black porcelain teapot lends itself to the aqueous lines and integrated aspects that merge body, handle and spout in a distinctively sleek silhouette. The teacups, available in three different sizes, are rendered textural by the raised, dotted outer surface that delicately enables the dispersal of heat from a freshly brewed pot. Adding raw warmth to the ornamental set are the wooden plates and bowls, whose natural presence make for the perfect complement.
The Rosenthal Studio Line Cha tea set will be available from Studio of Tableware later this month.
