Welcoming back the one shoulder

Truthfully, when we heard that one shoulder tops were having a resurgence earlier this year, our initial thought was, “Ahh, why?” Bringing back some oh-so glamorous memories of skin tight solo armed numbers worn with capris and crimped hair (cheers for that SJP) we were, well, dubious to say the least.

But looking at the new generation of single sleeved styles, we can say, unclothed hand to heart, that we’re converted. Picking up from where the cold shoulder top left off last summer, the new/old style is more sophisticated this time around and easily worn in top, dress or jumpsuit form. And with these stellar examples already tempting us, there’s no doubt that come the warmer weather, we’ll be welcoming the no-longer-90s look back with open, one sleeved arms.
