The Starship Foundation celebrates 25 years with a hotly anticipated charity gala

We can't imagine there being a better excuse to rally your friends for a truly memorable night.

As advocates for all those organisations and individuals that make a difference in our society, it has come to our attention that the Starship Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Ball is fast approaching. Heralding what might just be the charity event of the year, the black-tie affair is a one-off event promising to be an evening to remember.

Fancifully themed after Lewis Carroll’s ‘Through the Looking Glass’ novel and unfolding on on Friday 27th October at Spark Arenathe gala will recap on some of the foundation’s extraordinary achievements of the past quarter-century in true celebratory style. Guests can anticipate performances from a multi-faceted line-up including Tiki Taane, the Royal New Zealand Ballet, our favourite Sweet Mix Kids and Richard O’Brien of Rocky Horror Show fame, while guiding you through the night will be MCs Mike Puru and Antonia Prebble.

With the time of year fast approaching when our consciousness kicks into overdrive, reminding us of how much (or how little) we do for others, we can’t imagine there being a better excuse to rally your friends for a truly memorable night that will not only have a few surprises in store, but which will also provide vital support for Starship, our national children’s hospital.

This event is sponsored by Barfoot & Thompson, and proudly supported by ASB and DLA Piper. Tickets are available for $350 per person, or $3,500 per table. To purchase, click here
