Get your skates on at this ice rink by the beach thanks to Takapuna’s exciting new pop-up

Finding activities to do with the children when the outdoors is perhaps not so appealing can be a challenge. Luckily for us, a whimsical winter wonderland is coming to Takapuna this Saturday, in the form of the North Shore’s very first ice rink.

Popping up at 38 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna Ice Rink will be providing sparkling, icy fun for adults and little ones alike until Sunday, 2nd of May. A fully covered space, measuring 10-metres-by-25-metres, means this can be an all-weather activity.

With a lively atmosphere set by music to groove along to, and dynamic disco lighting, you’ll want to get your skates on quicksharp and brush up on your form for a spot of wholesome, ice-centric fun.

Takapuna Ice Rink runs from Saturday, 17th of April to Sunday, 2nd of May at 38 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna.
