Designed by GCA Architects, the Barcelona home is located on the first floor, with offices and parking on the ground floor beneath it. From the street, a staircase allows access to the ‘home’ level. Making the most of the height regulations on the first floor, a curved concrete floor was constructed that is clad in copper on the outside, and left as exposed concrete indoors. To conserve the simple, industrial, sophisticated ambience, the home is filled with antique wood as well as metal furnishings.
