Redondo armchair by Moroso available from Matisse

The one chair that’s single-handedly upping our bedroom game right now

Experiencing a resurgence in the world of interior design, the new incarnations of the mid-century classic tub chair are soft and enveloping, i.e. the perfect addition to one’s moody Autumn boudoir. Upholstered in an array of sumptuous fabrics, we’re particularly taken with dusty pink one that featured in Templeton Architecture’s Berkeley House (above).

In an attempt to recreate the look at home, we discovered the equally nostalgic King Living Oliver Tub chair (above left) finished in soft velvet, or Trenzseater’s Henri Armchair (above right) in textured bouclé. Ideally rendered in nostalgic colours of olive, dusty pink and cream, we’re embracing this nod to the style of decades past.
