Often, it’s the little touches that take a meal from ‘good’ to ‘goddamn that’s good’, and one trick we’ve noticed being employed by some of our favourite chefs is the sprinkling of microgreens. Tremendously easy to achieve (though no one needs to know that) just pick up a microgreen growing tray from your local gardening store or Huckleberry and you’ll be on your way to culinary topping success. With no soil needed, pop it on the bench, give the seeds a good dousing with water (keeping it topped up as they grow), et voilá — in no time you’ll have a lush mini garden ready to elevate your meals from glum to gourmet.
