Craft beer fans listen up, New Zealand’s biggest urban beer garden is coming to town this weekend

New Zealand’s biggest urban beer garden is to set up shop this weekend in the City of Sails, with the Auckland Craft Beer & Food Festival kicking off its inaugural appearance.

Curated and managed by the team behind the successful Dunedin Craft Beer Festival, now in its eighth year, the Auckland event will be taking place at Spark Arena on Saturday, 27th of March. Led by brewery partners Behemoth Brewing Company and Emerson’s Brewery, this is the festival for craft beer fans to indulge their love of the stuff, as it will bring together more than 50 breweries from around the country, setting up across Spark Arena’s indoor and outdoor areas.

From Parrotdog to Garage Project, to The Sawmill Brewery and many, many more, punters can also expect to fill their bellies with artisan food trucks and beverage vendors like Brooklyn Dogs hotdogs, Sabores Spanish and Latin Cuisine, and The Big Smoke BBQ Co.

The festival will be supported by Live Nation and Radio Hauraki — groove to a stacked musical lineup of local legends like Anika Moa, Hello Sailor, Zed, Molly & The Chromatics, and DJs Nice’n’Urlich.

Find tickets at Aucklandbeerfestival.co.nz, and get yourself down to Spark Arena this Saturday for what’s sure to be a day to remember.
