Maddie Brogan’s foodie heritage has evidently been passed down a generation. Her Mum, Tara Brogan, founded Richmond Road’s beloved Savour and Devour before going on to conceive (and helm the kitchen of) Ponsonby Central’s Foxtrot Parlour amongst other projects. Having grown up around hospitality, there wasn’t much stopping her going out on her own, the result being the uber cute traveling roadshow that is mobile smoothie trailer Blitzd.
Hitting the streets of Auckland and the likes of the Mount Albert and Grey Lynn Farmer’s Markets, her specialty smoothie bowls are proving to be a hit. Featuring all natural and locally sourced ingredients, the one-stop breakfast cups are brimming with deliciousness. Sorbet-like fruit concoctions are combined with crunchy, home-made granola, coconut yoghurt, chia seeds, buckwheat and fresh fruit for the perfect start to your Saturday or Sunday morning.
