Celebrate International Doughnut Day with this delicious giveaway

If we were already looking forward to Friday, now we’re doubly excited thanks to a very sweet observance: International Doughnut Day. Celebrated on June 5, this year’s International Doughnut Day sees Auckland bakery The Pie Piper marking the occasion with a doughnut scavenger hunt in the city centre.

Famous among those in-the-know for its hand-made doughnuts, The Pie Piper’s tempting variations include flavours such as S’mores, Cinnamon Glazed Scroll and Banoffee – and three new creations have been added to the fold especially for International Doughnut Day: Black Forest, Creme Brulee and Caramel Macchiato.

We’re all about supporting local businesses and two dozen doughnuts are sure to add a sprinkle of joy to your Friday.

The hardest part is which flavour to choose, which is why we’re giving away a dozen of these delicious treats to two lucky winners.
