We’ve long been partial to the virtues of a good bao, but nothing compares to a very special one being proffered by Chop Chop. It was recently brought to our attention that they have a new addition to their street food menu; a delightful pork katsu bao with sesame and yuzu dressing. Alas, as delicious as this edition was, it was its handsome cousin, the beef brisket bao, for which we’ve developed an almighty obsession. Featuring the most flavoursome brisket whose rich, pull-apart texture is perfectly harmonised by the addition of tangy kimchi and coriander, we’d take this puppy for lunch each and every day if we could.
