This impossibly tender lamb dish is set to become a standout dish of spring

Switching things up with the seasons should not only be constrained to skincare regimes and wardrobe choices, your culinary choosings are also worthy of a little adjustment too. Doing this in fine form is L’affare Melrose with a brand new all-day menu. Further to the classic breakfast options we have come to know and love like the black rice porridge, Eggs Benedict, and mince on toast, there’s the recent insertion of something more suited to spring; the impossibly tender confit lamb shoulder served with pea farro risotto and crispy wild mushroom. The lamb, clichéd as it may sound, literally melts in your mouth whilst the crunch of the peas is like a burst of green spring… I could go on, but it is probably more fitting that you make a beeline for the Newmarket eatery and decide for yourself.
