And from the proverbial ashes rose a phoenix by the name of Honeytrap Catering that is now responsible for a delicious delivery — a taco/nacho/sandwich/chilli party to tantalise taste buds wherever they may reside; all that stands between you and this dreamy situation is a minimum of 15 people (or a minimum spend of $300) and 48 hours notice.

As part of the taco option, you’ll receive a soul-warming crock pot full of slow cooked filling of either shredded mole beef, chipotle chicken and peppers or mushroom and bean chilli. Arriving hot and staying that way until you and your guests are ready, the delightful offerings come complete with everything your heart could possibly desire to build your own tacos, including tortillas, avocado cream, salsa fresca, pickles and slaw.

Fancy a nacho party instead? The Honeytrap girls will hook you up with slow cooked beef and bean chilli, corn chips, cheese sauce and all the typical trimmings. Maybe you’re in the mood for a Beef and Bean Chilli Party? Say no more. Your steamy cauldron of goodness will come served with herb and lime rice, chilli cheese cornbread and to-die-for chipotle butter. And last but certainly not least, if a surefire Sandwich Party is what you’re after, you’re in for a treat, taking the form of slow-cooked meat of your choice, burger buns, slaw and pickles like their BBQ beef brisket with red cabbage slaw and zucchini pickles. And in case you were wondering, desserts are totally doable too, with options like the banana and pineapple cake with lime frosting making a very compelling argument.
