The results are in. The inaugural Denizen Everyday Heroes saw thousands of votes cast in support of local businesses, with the aim of shining a light on the people and places whose services we rely upon. So without further ado, celebrate the best yoga studios Auckland city has to offer, as voted by you.
1. MOST VOTED: EastWest Yoga, Grey Lynn
Offering classes for practitioners of all levels, EastWest Yoga is a place to start, expand or solidify your yoga journey. Located at the Grey Lynn end of Ponsonby Road, EastWest Yoga offers hot classes alongside its signature vinyasa, align and yin classes. Large and light-filled, the studio is a welcoming space for all.
2. HONOURABLE MENTION: Studio Red, City Works Depot
Designed by Cheshire Architects, Studio Red’s purpose-built City Works Depot space is both a yoga studio and sanctuary. Founded by hot yoga enthusiast Vicky Cullinane, Studio Red caters from absolute beginners to seasoned experts, offering an exceptional environment for all those who desire to practice hot yoga (plus excellent options at room temperature, too).
3. HONOURABLE MENTION: Mande White Yoga, Ponsonby
With more than two decades of experience under her belt, Mande White knows a thing or two about the art of feeling good. With a studio located in Ponsonby’s Three Lamps, both beginners and those looking to expand their skillset are well catered for with Mande’s inclusive and motivating classes.
