The best kids entertainment venues in Auckland, as voted by you

The results are in. The inaugural Denizen Everyday Heroes saw thousands of votes cast in support of local businesses, with the aim of shining a light on the people and places whose services we rely upon. So without further ado, celebrate the best kids entertainment venues Auckland city has to offer, as voted by you.

1. MOST VOTED: Archie Brothers, Newmarket
When Australian-based group Funlab brought its Archie Brothers concept over the ditch in 2019, Auckland’s young and young-at-heart rejoiced. This one-stop entertainment destination is a fluorescent dream for kids and adults alike. Fun-seekers will find bumper cars, bowling lanes, arcade games and virtual reality rides to keep the fun times rolling for hours, along with a delicious bar and eatery churning out burgers, shakes and hot dogs.

2. HONOURABLE MENTION: Auckland War Memorial Museum, Parnell
Young minds are treated to entertainment and education aplenty at Auckland War Memorial Museum. It boasts an excellent range of exhibitions and activity programmes catered towards kids, offering a fun and interactive way for little ones to explore culture, art, science and the environment. General admission is free for Auckland residents, making this an accessible destination for families.

3. HONOURABLE MENTION: Holey Moley, Auckland CBD 
With a mini-golf course like no other, Holy Moley is renowned for providing endless oodles of fun. Its incredibly creative course has lots of opportunities to corral kids for an unforgettable photo moment, from its Simpsons living room setup to its shark tableau. With The Caddyshack bar for adults and pizzas, hot dogs and tasty snacks for kids, Holey Moley is just the place for an afternoon putt or birthday party.
